The South County League Men's Golf League 

The South County Men's Golf League consists of 13 private country clubs in the South Palm Beach County area. We play every other team in the league home or away, so you get to play a variety of different courses. The season starts at the end of April and extends through the playoffs in September. You not only get to enjoy competitive golf, but you also interact with players from all over the area in a collegial environment.

The matches are team of two better ball in a wide range of handicap levels. In 2023 our rosters indexes ranged from 2 to 26.5. The maximum handicap index allowed in league play is 27.6. We play from front and back tees corresponding to our #4 & #5 tees. Each player plays from the tee of his choice.

The matches are on Wednesday mornings with an 8:30 shotgun start with a continental breakfast before and lunch after play. The fee for away games will be $60.

You do not have to be available to play every week or to sign up to play any specific number of matches to be on the team, but the league rules require that you play in at least 3 regular season matches to qualify to play in the playoffs.

The charge for joining the team is $65 which will cover the uniforms.
