South County League Board of Governors Meeting

The meeting was called to order at 8:00am by Pres. Jay Levine.

Roll call was taken and all the clubs were present eventually.

     

There seemed to be some confusion relative to the scoring system, so that was reviewed in detail by the President.

​

The next discussion was about what constitutes an acceptable breakfast. Jay made the point that there is a minimum of bagels and coffee, but there is no maximum. Clubs can do whatever they would like beyond the minimum.

​

Jay announced that Boca Lago will host the playoff finals.

​

Since some clubs are having trouble fielding teams, Jay is forming a task force to see how we can make our league more attractive to players.

​

With Covid still being an issue, the need for a protocol to notify people if someone who competed tests positive was discussed. The very least would be to contact the opposing governor from that week, so that he can notify his people.

​

The next meeting will be at the Fountains on June 14 – Breakfast at 7:30am.

​

There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 8:40 am.
